Production Machine Operator - Night Shift

This position works 10-hour shifts, between the approximate hours of 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for all processes involved in the operation of the deposition and laser scribing machines; including the unloading, cleaning, and reloading materials.

  • Responsible for completing preventative maintenance, including but not limited to, checking gas cylinders to ensure appropriate levels needed for machine operation, check vacuum pumps prior to starting machine to ensure oil levels are appropriate and there are no defects, inspection of O rings for any defects or damage, replacing materials and equipment as needed and, when appropriate, informing the maintenance team of needed repairs.

  • Responsible for monitoring the production machines while in operation, logging run conditions and reporting any abnormalities to the supervisor.

Manufacturing Assembly Workers 

These positions are temporary full-time and may become regular full-time with benefits. Work 10 hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Some overtime may be required.

What you'll do:

  • Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or follow verbal instructions to complete duties.

  • Work at different work stations as assigned.

  • Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other according to a diagram, sample, or verbal instructions.

  • Crimp, screw, rivet, grommet, solder, cement, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

  • Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or PC boards and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, etching, and color coding parts and assemblies.

  • Operate machines that press, laminate, cut, or test component parts. Perform day to day maintenance on production assembly machines.

  • Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.

  • Perform pass-fail testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

  • Other assigned duties.
