  The 50W SemiFlex Solar Panel with Integrated Charge Controller brings together PowerFilm’s 30 years in the solar industry with custom solutions using high-efficiency Maxeon monocrystalline (c-Si) solar cells.   

  The PowerBoost series of charge controllers utilizes high-efficiency DC-DC converters and a proprietary power point tracking system to optimize the power collected from the solar panel and efficiently charge a battery.  

  The PowerBoost will provide the most power to a battery and extend the battery’s lifetime. This charge controller is specifically designed for use with solar energy and will not overcharge a battery, unlike some three-stage chargers connected to solar modules.

  Leveraging our deep expertise in custom encapsulations, varied substrates, and total electronics, the 50W Solar Panel provides unsurpassed efficiency, delivering more power to your system.

• Important Notes

  If the panel is wet, wipe it down before storing it in a cool, dry environment.

  All connections must be solar positive (red) to battery positive and solar negative (black or blue) to battery negative. Reversing can damage the solar panel. Consult your battery manufacturer if you have questions about the specifications of your battery.

• How To Charge

  1. Set the panel on the ground (or other surface) with the solar side facing up and pointed towards the sun.

  2. Use the grommets on each of the corners and a tie cord to hold the panel in place and reduce loss or damage from high winds.

  3. Connect the appropriate accessory and cable for the type of device you will be charging.

• Accessories

  • 15 ft. Extension Cord with Alligator Clips (RA-8) for quick temporary connections to batteries.

  • 2.4A Dual USB 12V Adapter (RA-14B) use with the 12V Female Car Charger Adapter (RA-2) to charge USB devices

  • Male 12V Car Charger Adapter (RA-1) charge your vehicle’s battery through the 12V power port. Consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual for more information.

  • 15 ft. Extension Cord (RA-7)
