    PowerFilm designed this Soltronix 24W Semi-Flexible Solar Panel specifically for a Thermo King Precedent Trailer Refrigeration Unit. This design includes a unique shape and an integrated fixed power point tracking (FPPT) charge controller.

     

    Compared to other panels on the market, the integrated charge controller delivers more power to the battery and provides for a quicker installation. The custom shape offers access to the radiator cap without having to remove the panel, reducing maintenance costs.

     

    The panel attaches easily to the metal frame of the TRU with four self-tapping screws. Older Thermo King units may need rubber feet as spacers between the panel and metal frame to avoid height obstructions. (Screws and spacers are not included).

    The 24W PF - TK Replacement panel provides 21.1W to the battery (88% efficiency).

  • All connections must be solar positive (red) to battery positive and solar negative (black or blue) to battery negative. Reversing can damage the solar panel. Consult your battery manufacturer if you have questions about the specifications of your battery.

  • Your Soltronix solar panel with an integrated charge controller is a DC power source when exposed to light. Typical output would be 10.5V-14.4V and 1.5A-2.0A, depending upon system conditions.
