We just launched our new 110W Crystalline Foldable Solar Panel! It’s built for portable power when you need real output, in a compact, foldable design that’s easy to pack and deploy. High-output portable power. Packs down fast, deploys in seconds. Military-spec construction, backed by PowerFilm. Visit Product Page Blog Posts Most people assume solar panel performance depends on how much sunshine is available, but the reality is more complex. Solar intensity varies throughout the day, across seasons, and even under different weather conditions, directly affecting how much power a panel can produce.   Factors like light angle, atmospheric conditions, temperature, and panel technology all play a role in real-world energy output.    In our latest blog, we break down what solar intensity really means and why performance depends on more than just sunny skies. Read the full article to learn how to evaluate solar performance more accurately. Read The Post In a recent C.R. England field evaluation, a PowerFilm 440W solar system supported heavy hotel loads while maintaining starter and APU batteries for roughly 800 hours. The result was over one month with zero battery-driven engine auto-start charging events during the test period.   Read the full post to see the complete results and what they could mean for your fleet. Read The Post Solar panels are designed to perform in direct sunlight. What happens when they are behind a window? In this post, we break down what happens to solar performance behind a window, when it might still work, and where it becomes a problem.   If you're evaluating solar for a commercial application, understanding these limitations up front can help you avoid underperformance and design mistakes. Read The Post Designing Your Solar Solution Do you have energy targets or system requirements that off‑the‑shelf solar can’t meet? We collaborate with fleets, device manufacturers, and other commercial customers to engineer custom solar solutions with precise power output and application‑specific performance.
