The Horizon Blog is almost a year old and we are incredibly thankful to our subscribers and readers everywhere.
We couldn't do what we do without customers, readers and subscribers helping to support our efforts.
This holiday season we are taking a look back at some of our 2016 posts.
2016 taught us many things, but above all we learned that while there are many different kinds of solar panels, all aren't manufactured, tested or marketed on a level playing field.
We also discovered that solar power is no longer confined to the outdoors. PowerFilm manufactures solar material that can keep sensors and transmitters powered indoors!
Did you know that many of the solar panel on the market have inflated or inaccurate specs. We dove into the world of solar panel testing to help you sort through this muddled mess.
The world is an incredibly connected place and only getting more and more connected each day. In a world where systems and machines need to be able to communicate vital data, power is huge.
2016 Saw The Outreach Program use our LightSaver portable solar charger to help supply clean drinking water to Tanzanians.
We have been providing reliable portable solar power for the US Military for many years. we sat down with Director of Military Business Development, and former US Army servicemen, Wes White, to talk about the incredible things PowerFilm is able to do with the US Military.
In 2016 we took portable power to a whole new level with the LightSaver Max with a successful Indiegogo campaign. This incredible product is the culmination of thousands of hours of work by our incredible engineering and product development teams.
With so many different portable solar chargers on the market it can be hard to decide on the right one. That's why we made three different options for you! Not sure which LightSaver is right for you? We can help.
We like to ask "why" at PowerFilm Solar and 2016 was no different. This year we thought about why you should partner with us.
2016 has been an incredible year thanks to you and we look forward to 2017.
We are excited to dig deeper into the world of solar and interacting with subscribers.
Happy holidays from everyone at PowerFilm Solar!
